Major Barrett Dill joined the Corporation April 1st 2007 following a distinguished military career spanning some 32 years, culminating in the final 12 years as Director of Music of the Bermuda Regiment Band and Corps of Drums. Major Dill earned both the Efficiency Decoration (E.D.) and the Efficiency Medal (E.M.) for exemplary military service. On three occasions, in 1994, 1995 and again in 2003 he was honored as the Outstanding Officer of the Year of the Bermuda Regiment. Major Dill holds both Military and Civilian degrees in Music, a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Mount Saint Vincent University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Mark Melo joined the Bermuda Housing Corporation in August 2007 as Finance Manager and is responsible for the management of the finance department. He has a wealth of experience previously serving as the Vice President and Comptroller of American International Company and Treasurer of the Corporation of Hamilton. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Acadia University.
With over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Robert MacLellan is leading the project. Having managed hotels in Bermuda, St. Thomas and Jamaica, Robert founded MacLellan Associates in 1997 and has held several senior positions where he provided his property development expertise.
Specialising in luxury homes and new construction, Brian Madeiros has been in the real estate business since 1990 and is a shareholder in Bermuda’s largest full-service real estate firm. Having captured several impressive awards, such as the Coldwell Banker Diamond Award and International Presidents Elite in 2004, Brian will help to provide a strong market presence and continued growth in this project.
OBMI’s Colin Campbell is the project architect and has created some of the most admired buildings, private homes and hospitality projects in the Caribbean. Some of his impressive work includes the KEMH Acute Care Hospital, the luxurious West Water Residence and Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Center.
Joel Crocker, the Project Commercial Director, is part of an elite group of hospitality professionals and specializes in financial modeling, account analysis and valuations. Before joining MacLellan & Associates, Joel has held manager roles at resorts and villa developments in both St. Lucia and Antigua with his consultancy work spanning the Caribbean from the Dominican Republic to Trinidad & Tobago.
Head of Project Marketing, Russell Bragg, specialises in launching property developments. After several years in international business with BAT and three years with the Langdale Group PLC, Russell founded Bragg & Co in 1989 where he is the Managing Director. Some of Russell’s highest profile clients include Celtic Manor, Gleneagles, Champneys in the UK, Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus and Anahita in Mauritius.
Frank Merchie is the Project & Pre-Commissioning Manager for the Bermudiana Beach Resort Project and brings a wealth of expertise. Having built a successful career in Hospitality & Leisure, Frank has specialized since 1997 in advisory and consulting services for the Hospitality & Private Residence sectors. His main activities are Project Management & Physical Asset Management for Boutique Hotels/Resorts and Exclusive Private Estates with projects in over 25 countries worldwide.
