It’s no secret that Bermuda is a golfer’s paradise. Pleasant weather, dramatic oceanfront fairways and more golf courses per capita than anywhere else in the world help the island to secure this title.

Grab your Bermuda shorts and golf shirt and come over - you’ll find wonderful world-class courses spread over just 21 square miles. Jump in the golf cart, here are some you have to try.

Port Royal Golf Course

5 Port Royal Golf Course Road Southampton SB, 03, Bermuda

Port Royal Golf Course offers breathtaking views and gives keen golf enthusiasts the chance to play like a pro. The green is in fantastic condition due to the PGA Tour championships held every year.

Take a virtual tour of the course to get a feel for it here - all you’re missing is the smell of the ocean and the warm Atlantic sunshine. Those will have to wait until your next visit.

The signature hole is the acclaimed 16th, beautifully situated above jagged cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re looking for a challenge, the hole requires a near-perfect shot to reach the well-bunkered green. Good luck!

Book tee time here and rise to the challenge.

All greens have been rebuilt with an imported hybrid Bermuda grass to provide a smoother putting surface. Nature lovers will enjoy being surrounded by the island paradise and undulating coastline. The best part? It’s only minutes from an international airport so you can go from tarmac to tee off in no time.
