1. Take Part in the Bermudian Amateur Golf Tournament

Each November, avid golfers gather at Port Royal Golf Course to compete in the Bermudian Amateur Four-Ball Championship. 

Taking place over three days, this inclusive tournament has a vibrant history dating back to 1953. The course is home to the world-famous and much-photographed 16th hole - a cliffside masterpiece overlooking the stunning Atlantic Ocean.

Port Royal is one of Bermuda’s nine amazing golf courses. Others include Tucker’s Point and Mid Ocean Club.

2. Cheer on Your Colours at the World Rugby Classic

Since the late eighties, Bermuda has played host to the famous World Rugby Classic. During the first week of November each year, some of the greatest rugby athletes down bags on the island to take part in this thrilling competition.

As well as being a great opportunity for fans to watch some top class rugby, the event boasts an open bar and live music. There’s also the chance to meet and greet the players once they’ve battled it out on the pitch.

A week-long event seeing the veterans of Rugby Teams from eight different countries, including the British Lions and the New Zealand All Blacks, South African Springboks. Great sport and even better partying draws crowds from all over the world. 3. Explore the Island’s Stunning Nature Reserves

Bermuda is home to many hidden gems. This includes several breathtaking reserves. One of the most famous is Cooper’s Island - a pristine area of land that’s ideal for exploration during November. 

Spittal Pond Nature Reserve is another famous Bermudian attraction. Standing at over 55 acres, this is the island’s largest area of land for people to traverse. The reserve is full of winding trails for keen walkers, so be sure to pack your trail shoes.

4. Kite Surf Across the Bermudian Waters

Steady winds and mild sea temperatures make Bermuda the perfect destination for avid kite surfers in November. The island prides itself on being boardsport specialists, so there are plenty of spots for you to rent a board and take to the ocean.

Shelly Bay and Achilles Bay are two of the most popular beaches for kitesurfing in Bermuda. There are operators located nearby both of these, including Blue Hole Water Sports and Fantasea Diving & Watersports

May to November is the peak fishing season in Bermuda. There’s a vast array of fish available to catch, including Marlin Tuna or Wahoo. Barracudas are also a common species on the island, so watch out for their bite! 

West Whale Bay and Spring Benny’s Bay are two of the most popular spots for fishing on the island. They both offer a serene backdrop for shore fishers to cast their lines and admire the natural beauty Bermuda has to offer.
